Successful Seminar ‘West Flanders, innovative region in agro-food logistics”

On Monday November 5th, the seminar “West Flanders, innovative region in agro-food logistics” (“West-Vlaanderen, innoverende topregio in agrovoedingslogistiek”) took place in the Ondernemerscentrum in Roeselare (Belgium).

With this conference the West Flanders Development Agency (POM) wants to draw attention to the strengths of the province as a logistics hub for the agro-food industry and reinforce its ambitions. As such, West Flanders aims to become a top European cluster in the agro-food logistics by 2020.  The conference was also the kick-off for the cluster activities in which primarily businesses but also knowledge and public institutions are participating.

The conference was organised with the support of the European projects Oost West Poort and Food Port.
